The first step is simple and accessible: Discover the extensive database—you can enter the first name or last name of your ancestor, or even that of their father or mother. In just a few moments, you might already find the first clues to your family history.

Access the Database
NOTES on Results:
- "NN NN" - indicates that parent data is available but needs to be researched. Only in rare cases does it indicate orphans.
- "Available*" - indicates that the Place/Date is mostly known or to be researched based on already available information.
- Regarding dates, in many cases they are complete, but only the year is displayed.
Even though our database is updated regularly, if you can't find the name of your Italian ancestor, don't worry. Feel free to contact us, as their name might still be waiting to be added to the database.
